Genevieve Rice Obituary
Age 92, of #221, Rt. #249, Middlebury Center, PA, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2007, at the Green Home, Inc., Wellsboro, PA. She was born September 10, 1915 in Germania, PA, the daughter of Jacob and Harriet Saunders Smith. She was a homemaker and a lifelong farmer on the family farm with her husband, Harry "Cy" Rice, who preceded her in death in 1985. She is survived by her son, Gary (Helen) Rice, Middlebury Center, PA; grandsons, Donald (Deb) Rice, Show Low, AZ, Gary Daniel Rice, Middlebury Center, PA, David Rice, Atlanta, GA; granddaughter, Melissa (Chris) Rice Cuddeback, Schenectady, NY; great-grandchildren, Kyler, Kody and Kaylynn Rice, Middlebury Center, PA, Sarah and John Roger Cuddeback, Schenectady, NY; daughter-in-law, Donna Rice, North Rose, NY; several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, Harry; she was preceded in death by her son, Roger in 1999. Family and friends are invited to call Thursday from 1-2:00 p.m. at the Kenyon Funeral Home, Inc., 214 West Main Street, Elkland, PA. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation. Kristi Webster officiating. Burial in Nelson Cemetery, Nelson, PA. Memorials may be made to the Middlebury Fire Dept. in Genevieve's memory.
