Carolyn Corbett Obituary
32, of Birdsboro, PA and formerly of Mansfield, PA, passed away on October 20, 2007. Born April 26, 1975 in Williamsport, PA, she was a daughter of Dr. Carl W. and Mary Lou (Kostecki) Smith. Carolyn was a 1993 graduate of Mansfield High School and received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Finance from Albright College. Carolyn was a bright and motivated woman. Her life revolved around her love of family as a kind and loving mother and a devoted daughter and sister. Carolyn was a special friend and neighbor to many whose lives she touched. She also enjoyed her work as a financial advisor with LPL Financial Services of California. In addition to her beloved parents, Dr. Carl and Mary Lou Smith of Mansfield, surviving are her husband, Anson H. Corbett; her precious son, Andrew H. Corbett; a sister, Amy Smith of Blossburg; paternal grandmother, Phyllis Smith of California; two special godsons, David and Lucas Moore; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by grandparents, Joseph and Mary Kostecki and Jay E. Smith. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Zwicharowski Funeral Home, Blossburg. Transferral Prayers will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Blossburg. Carolyn will be laid to rest next to her grandparents in the parish cemetery. A visitation will also be held from 1-3 p.m. Wednesday at the Bean Funeral Home in Exeter Twp., PA.

Dear Carolyn,
How can I express my heart felt synpathy, you were such a sweet, kind, adorably person, and we only knew you on a professional level. I can't even think of the pain your family is going through, and that little boy, we share the same birthday, I will pray for him and every year on his special day, and hope he'll feel his mother's love. I lost a sister, same age as Carolyn, and as tragic as hers, she also left a two year old son, I just hope Carolyn's family are rasing her true love of her life. The loss is unimaginable and unwelcomed it only makes us hold onto the precious memories that we have. Carolyn had an amazing spirit that could not go unnoticed, I hope little Andy can keep everyone's ears busy with her infectious personality. Sorry, for your loss. Carolyn was very caring, fun and beutiful inside and out. Me and my husband Brian met Carolyn about ten years ago. She used to be our next door neighbor. We have been really good friends ever since then. Me and my Husband remember many good times we had together. She knew how to have a good time. We will miss having her around. Her son was adorable and I'm sure he will grow up knowing about how much of a wonderful person his Mom was by all the great memories everybody who knew Carolyn can share with him. We will always have Carolyn in our hearts.

Carolyn was one of the most beautiful people both inside and out I have even known. I will always remember her warm smiles,soft voice, long lashes, freckles and sparkling personality. I was blessed to have know her and call her my friend even if only for a short while. She will live on in our treasured memories and in the MANY hearts who's lives she has touched. I am so sorry to hear the tragic loss of Carolyn.
I met Carolyn at the Birdsboro Women's Club. We often talked about her son and my now 2 year old granddaughter. She was always a helpful hand during our fundraisers. She was a pleasant person to be around.
