LINSZ, Virginia Hart
Age 98, of Ithaca, NY, passed away Tuesday, October 16th, at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca. Virginia was born in July of 1909, the daughter of Charles and Elsie Miller Hart, in Elmira, NY. She married Wilford R. Linsz, who passed away in 1997. Virginia was in charge of shipping at the Klutch Company in Big Flats, NY. Ginny felt that her hands were her most important asset, as she loved working in the garden and sewing. She was beloved by her family and friends. She was a member of the Christian Faith Fellowship Church in Elmira. Virginia is survived by her sister, Sr. Mary Michael of Boston, MA; son, Peter Hubbell of Leesburg, FL; Valerie Hubbell Facchine of Elkton, MD; Maryjane Krepperof Bradford, VT; Norton Linsz of Jacksonville, FL; many grand and great-grandchildren; and special friend and caregiver, Joy Inman. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilford; sons, David Hubbell, Hart Hubbell, and Ralph Linsz; and brother, Stephen Hart. At Virginia's request there will be no calling hours. There will be a Memorial Service for Virginia by the Christian Faith Fellowship Church with Rev. James Crupi officiating, to be held at the Elmira Seventh Day Adventist Church, 813 Maple Ave., Elmira, NY, on Monday, October 29th, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family and friends are requested to send donations in Virginia's name to Hospicare of Ithaca, 172 E. King Rd., Ithaca, NY 14850. Carpenters Funeral Home in Corning is handling arrangements.
