Georgia Townsend Obituary

TOWNSEND, Georgia A.
Age 65, of Elmira Heights, NY. She was born October 29, 1941 in Elmira, daughter of the late Hezakiah and Alma Julia (Smith) Townsend and passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2007, at home after an extended illness. She is survived by her children, Mark Williams, Deborah Tadder and Michael Williams, all of Elmira; several grandchildren; brother, Donald McLeod of Elmira; along with several nieces and nephews. Georgia retired from Elmira College. Family and friends are invited to visit Walter J. Kent Funeral Home, 858 Lake St. at Washington Ave., Elmira on Thursday, October 25th, from 2 to 4 p.m. It was Georgia's request that there be no flowers.

she is my grandma and a friend. we did not see each other all the time but i know i was always in her heart and she was and is always in my heart. now she can see her great grandson and enjoy him.you both wll always be in my heart and someday i will see you both. i love grandma and davon.
