KUNATH, Leah D. "Bette"
87, died Friday, October 12, 2007, in her residence at ECC Retirement Village, Albright Campus, Myerstown, PA. She was formerly of Big Flats, NY and Keuka Lake areas. She was the wife of the late Ernest Robert Kunath. She was born in Greenwich, CT on February 4, 1920, a daughter of the late James Joseph and Leah Riddel Davidson. She was a reserve officer for the Ocean City, MD police department. She also worked as a secretary at the Painted Post Elementary/Middle School. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 567, NY. She is survived by a son, Robert D., husband of Frances G. Kunath, Lebanon, PA; grandsons, James Daniel Kunath, Crafton, MD, David Robert Kunath, Horseheads, NY; stepgranddaughter, Kate Muir, Annapolis, MD; stepgrandson, Matthew A. Tropp, Hershey, PA; great-grandsons, Aidan Finn Kunath, Riley James Kunath; step great-granddaughter, Shelby Statham; stepgrandson, Ian Statham. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. from St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 22 S. 6th St., Lebanon, PA 17042. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the St. Luke's Capital Campaign fund. Rohland Funeral Home Inc., Lebanon, PA handling the arrangements.

Bob and Family,
It is with much saddness that I learn of Bette's passing. She was truly a wonderful person. I am so glad that I got knew her. I know that she will be happy being with Ernest. My deepest sympathy to each of you.
