VOORHEES, James Warren Jr.
James Warren Voorhees Jr., 41, of Granbury, Texas, went to be with the Lord on October 23, 2007. He was born in Elmira, New York on June 16, 1966. He is survived by his parents, Jim Sr. and Kathy Voorhees of Elmira, NY, Patsy Lee and Leonard Hadix of Granbury, Texas; grandparents, Clara Bell and Walt Connis of Horseheads, NY, Charles Ferguson of Elmira, NY, and Eleanor Snyder of Elmira, NY; brothers and sisters, Christine Foster of Granbury, TX, Sandra Crist and husband, Monty of Lakeside, CA, Richard Voorhees and wife, Lori, Nichole Voorhees, Christopher Fierro, Jack Stowe and wife, Tracy, Ashley McCoy, Annie Brown, Justin Hoyles, Breanna Hoyles, Jamie Hoyles, all of which reside in Elmira, NY; biological mother, Linda Snyder of Lowman, NY; also nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends who loved him. Jimmy loved family, music and fitness. He spent a lot of his free time weight lifting and reading. We will all miss our "Meatball" and treasure the memories we have with him here on earth. He loved the Lord and now is at peace singing amongst the angels. Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY 14904, on Tuesday, October 30, 2007, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with Funeral Service there Wednesday, October 31, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. followed by the burial at Maple Grove Cemetery, Horseheads, NY. A "Candle of Remembrance" may be left for the family in Obituaries at www.olthof.com.
