GEE, Ralph Robert
Of Pinnacle Towers, Wellsboro, PA, died October 28, 2007 at The Green Home. He was born in Chatham Township on April 27, 1919, the son of the late Ralph and Edna Carpenter Gee. Bob was married to the late Marian M. Smith Gee; preceded by stepmother, Mary Gee; brother-in-law, Hugh Cloos; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Vivian and Morris Colegrove; step-brother-in-law, Ralph Gaige. Survived by his sons, James E. Gee, Richland, PA, William R. Gee and wife, Dulce of Farmington, NY, and Frank L. Gee and wife, Brenda of Lancaster, PA; grandchildren, Robert D. Gee of River Falls, WI, Julianne M. Gee and husband, William Kelliher of Atlanta, GA, Barbara and husband, Steve Schmelz of Pittsburgh, PA, Ryan P. Gee of Lancaster, PA, Kevin D. and wife, Elizabeth Gee of Lebanon, PA; great-grandchildren, Mikal Leah Gee, Harrison and Conan Kelliher. Also survived by his sister, Ruth Cloos of Lexington, NC; and several nieces and nephews. Bob was a veteran of World War II, truck driver by occupation, member of Wellsboro Chapter of American Veterans Club, Charter member of Canyon Camper Club of Wellsboro, PA. Bob was an avid camper, enjoyed hunting and fishing, but mostly enjoyed spending time with his many friends and sharing his stories. Friends and family are invited to Bob's Life Celebration on Thursday, November 1, 2007, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Friday, November 2, 2007, from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main Street, Wellsboro, PA. Funeral service will be Friday, November 2, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Brophy of Roseville-Mainesburg Parish officiating. Burial will be in Wellsboro Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in his name to House of Care, Geisinger Medical Center, 100 North Academy Avenue, Danville, PA 17822-2800; or Laurel Health Hospice, 24 Walnut Street, Wellsboro, PA 16901.

Bob was one of my most unforgettable characters. I am so sorry I learned of his passing too late for the viewing/funeral. My condolences to Bob's great family on their loss.
