SPIRAWK, Sophie (Bilzor)
92 well-lived years completed Thursday, October 25th in Pittsburgh, PA. Beloved wife of the late Andrew J. of Elmira, NY, and mother of Richard of Pittsburgh. Grandmother to Richard Jr. of Philadelphia, Susan Billetdeaux of Pittsburgh, and Ellen Zullo of Dagsboro, DE; and three great-grandchildren, Anna, Jack, and Lexxine. She was predeceased by sister, Caroline Knapp of Albany, NY and brothers, Walter Bilzor of Harwood, MD and Bernard Bilzor of Elmira, NY. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 9th at St. Louise de Marillac Church, McMurray Road, Upper St. Clair, PA. Memorial donations to Blind & Vision Rehabilitation Services of Pittsburgh, 1800 West Street, Homestead, PA 15120 or the American Parkinson Disease Association, 490 East North Avenue, Suite 500 Pittsburgh, PA 15212.

As a Eucharistic Minister at Kane Hospital I met Sophie. She was a very pleasant person to minister too. I do some work in Albany and Troy NY, she told me of the years she lived in NY. I am having a mass said for her by the Monks of St.Vincent Archabbey in Latrobe Pa. My paryers wiil be with her.

Dick and Carol Ann,
So sorry about your mom's passing. I'll remember the visits to see Aunt Sophie and Uncle Andy. Always loved their visits and late night card games at our house on Troy Schenectady Rd. So many changes in such a short time...
