Eleanor Wiedmaier Obituary
Age 72, of Big Flats, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, November 12, 2007, with her family by her side. It was Eleanor's wish that there be no calling hours. The family will welcome relatives and friends to a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Lourdes, 1100 W. Church St., Elmira, NY, on Thursday, November 15, 2007, at 11 a.m., Fr. Thomas O'Brien will be the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Corning, NY immediately following. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Eleanor may do so through memorial to Southern Tier Hospice, 11751 East Corning Road, Corning, NY 14830. Arrangements are entrusted to Sullivan's Funeral Home, Horseheads, NY.

Ellie was a wonderful friend and cousin to my Mom and Dad ( Rose and Basco). They enjoyed her company at regular Friday night dinners. There was always a lot of laughter around the table when she came for dinner. She was my baby sitter when I was young and I always remember her kind smile and gentle manner. I never heard her say a negative word about anyone. She will be missed by those of us who loved her.
