ELLETT, Joshua R.
Age 34, of Elmira, died Sunday, November 18, 2007. Joshua was born September 3, 1973 in Elmira. He is survived by his mother Diane Foster; father Robert B. Ellett, with Jane Sandore, all of Elmira; sister, Sarah A. Foster-Arnold, with husband Rodney, of Elmira; grandfather, Frederick S. Ellett, Sr., of Elmira; grandparents, Neal and Joanne Nittinger of Oregon; uncles and aunts Dr. Frederick S. and Frances Ellett, of Canada, Patty and Jack Bliss of Washington, Mary and Brad Newgard of Oregon, with their families; nieces and nephew, Chantel Ellett, Aliyah, Kaden and Tyrah Arnold; along with great-niece, Gabriell Alyss. Joshua is predeceased by his sister and best friend, Alyss Ellett, "special grandparents", June and Richard Kast, niece, Mahalah Arnold. A kind and compassionate person, he had a love for animals. Joshua also loved the outdoors….hunting, fishing, water skiing, and sports, especially baseball. Private family services will be held. Donations in Josh's memory may be directed to the SPCA, Route 352, Elmira NY 14903. Arrangements by McInerny Funeral Home. Josh's family would like to thank the A.C.T. team at the Elmira Psychiatric Center for all the help and support they provided to him over the last year.

although i only knew josh for a few months... I personally thought he was very good person to be around... when someone was down... He tried to bring them back to there feet and get them to smile... He will always be in my heart as a friend... And I'll really miss him...

ALL THOW I ONLY KNEW JOSH FOR ONLY A FEW MONTHS HE WAS SUCH AN AWSOME PERSON...HE WAS VERY OUT GOING, AND A EASY PERSON TO GET ALONG WITH...WHEN SOMEBODY NEEDED SOMEBODY TO TALK TO, OR A SHOLDER TO CRY ON JOSH WAS RIGHT THERE...HE WAS A GREAT FRIEND...AND WILL BE EXTREMLY MISSED BY MANY...

Diane Words cannot express the sadness i feel for you. They say we are never given more then we can handle but i do question that and iam sure you do to. Just hold on those special memories that you have of Josh and keep them in your heart. That is one thing that no one can ever take away from us.
