Bette Ziegler Obituary
Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother
Age 85, of North Chemung, NY, passed away December 3rd, 2007 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Bette was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Vera (Watkins) Gillette. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, in 1922. Surviving Bette is her loving husband of 65 years, Charles; her daughters and sons-in-law, Charlene (Ronald) Rivlin of Ijamsville, MD, Christa (Bob) David of Elmira, NY; grandchildren, Heather (Ryan) Saltsman, Brenden (Alicia) Wood, Kristine Rivlin, Jason Rivlin, Rebecca Wood, Devin Wood, Kyle Wood; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Matthew Saltsman; several nieces and nephews. Bette is predeceased by her sisters, Myra and Kay. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service today, Wednesday, December 5th, 2007, at the First Baptist Church, 121 W. Church Street, Elmira, NY, 1:00 p.m. The Reverend Dennis Christiansen will officiate. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials in Bette G. Ziegler's name to the Memorial Fund at the First Baptist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. A "Candle of Remembrance" may be left for her family in Obituaries at www.olthof.com.

Uncle Ritchie, Charlene & Christa (and other family members): Please know that I keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to visit Aunt Bette a few years ago. I'm very sad to hear of her passing. God Bless All of You.
