Age 73, of 376 E. Dyke Street, died on Friday, December 7, 2007, at Jones Memorial Hospital. She was born December 26, 1933 in Galeton, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Carmine J. and Rena L. (Brambilla) Pagano. On October 24, 1959 at St. Bibiana Church in Galeton, she married Richard R. Buck who survives. Surviving in addition to her husband, "Dick," are her parents, Carmine and Rena Pagano of Galeton, beloved mother of 6 children; Gina N. Smith of Conesus, Nicki L. (Charles) Booker of Pearland, TX, and Camilla (Todd) Merrick of Geneseo, Jay R. (Lisa) Buck of Concord, NC, and her twins, Frank R. Buck and Guy J. (Theresa Shaw) Buck, both of Wellsville; three grandchildren, Cori Booker, Levi Buck and Colten Buck; three stepgrandchildren, Jade Deming, Branden and Kevin Merrick; three siblings, Charles (Bonnie) Pagano of Bradford, PA, and Carmine (Joyce) Pagano of Galeton, PA, and Grace (William) Murray of Big Sur, CA; a brother-in-law, Max Huber of North Hills, CA; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by a sister, Toni Huber in 1995. "Carm" was a graduate of Galeton High School and the Rochester Business Institute. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Wellsville, an ardent patron of The David A. Howe Public Library, an enthusiast of Jazz Music, a devoted fan of the Oakland Raiders, and well-known by her friends and family for her unending ability to laugh herself to tears. She lived her life with quiet grace, unshakeable dignity, unending devotion to family, extreme tolerance, and boundless love. It is with heavy hearts that we give this most beautiful soul back to God, and His heavenly community, with our sincere gratitude for allowing us the privilege of being a part of this most precious life. Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, December 12, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Church in Wellsville with Monsignor Vincent Becker as Celebrant. There will be no prior visitation. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery in Galeton, PA. Memorial suggestions include the Terrace Renovation Fund, c/o The David A. Howe Public Library, 155 N.
