Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother
Age 90 formerly of 26 Stafford Road Millport, NY passed away on Saturday December 8, 2007. Mrs. Drew was born August 27, 1917 in Deerfield, PA the daughter of the late Gale and Maryetta Clark Gerow. She was a graduate of Cortland State Teacher's College. Eloise married her husband, Raymond V. Drew, on December 23, 1936 and he pre-deceased her on February 25, 2001. Mrs. Drew was also pre-deceased by her son Eugene R. Drew who passed away on December 2, 1998. She was also pre-deceased by her sisters Norma Plumley, Ethlyn Goodwin, and Lucille Beeman. Mrs. Drew was a retired elementary school teacher with The Horseheads Central School System. She was devout member of The Moreland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Drew loved and took extreme pride in her family and their accomplishment in life and treasured the time she spent with them. Mrs. Drew is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Dan Drew & Atty. Beth Wood of Bloomington, Indiana; daughter-in-law: Catherine Marshall Drew of Horseheads, NY; grandchildren: Kelly Drew Stevenson and Joseph Stevenson of Lansdale, PA, Brian Drew of Horseheads, NY, Shawn Drew of Millport, NY, and Scott Drew of Pine City, NY; great grandchildren: twins Kathleen and Matthew Stevenson, Tyler Stevenson, and Joshua Drew; sister and brother-in-law: Ardys & Harry Hazelton of Wellsboro, PA; brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Rex & Phyllis Drew of Horseheads, NY; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Lynch Funeral Home 318 West Broad Street Horseheads, NY on Wednesday December 12, 2007 from 3-5 PM. Mrs. Drew's Funeral and Committal Services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours with the Rev. Anne Campbell officiating. Eloise will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Raymond in Maple Grove Cemetery in Horseheads, NY.
