William Hamblin Obituary
Age 74, of the Edward Flannery Apartments, Elmira, NY, passed away Thursday, November 29th, 2007, at the St. Josephs Hospital. Bill is survived by his ex-wife and friend, Clara Hall of Elmira; cousins, Judith Hamblin, Bill Hamblin, both of FL; friends, Lissa DePew and Bonnie Walborn, both of Elmira; and many other dear friends; along with his faithful feline companion, "Muffin". Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Bill in the Hobby Room of the Edward Flannery Apartments, Thursday, December 13th, 2007, at 4:00 p.m. The Reverend Dr. William Lutz will officiate. Bill was proud to be an LPN, and loved owning and operating his own truck. He was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church. In the past he was a devoted member of the Lyons Club, and the democratic committee. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Nyack, NY. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY. A "Candle of Remembrance" may be left for the family in Obituaries at www.olthof.com.
