Marlene Cowilich Obituary

COWILICH, Marlene T.
Age 68, of Horseheads, NY, passed away Monday afternoon, December 10, 2007, surrounded by her loved ones. Marlene was born February 28, 1939, a daughter of the late Harold and Thelma Thomason. Marlene worked as a beautician for fifty years in Horseheads. She was a hard worker that dearly adored her family and friends and would do anything for anybody. Marlene is survived by her children: Kim (Tim) Cheatham of Newport News, VA, Leslie (Kevin) McCarthy of Horseheads, NY, and Scott Cowilich of Millport, NY; granddaughters: Emily McCarthy, Katie McCarthy, Natalya Cowilich, Oxsanna Cowilich, and Kelly McCarthy; brothers: Bob Thomason of Odessa, NY, and Bill Thomason of Little Rock, AR; and her sweetheart and love of her life, Charlie Winant. It was Mrs. Cowilich's wish that there be no calling hours or Funeral Services. Those wishing to remember Marlene may do so through charities of one's choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Sullivan's Funeral Home, Horseheads, NY.

Dear Kim, Leslie, and Scott,
We are deeply saddened by the news of Marlene's death. She was a wonderful, caring and compassionate friend and neighbor for over 30 years. Her life was dedicated to her extended family. She dearly loved being with her grandchildren. Marlene touched so many lives (ours included).
