Linda, I was so surprised and sorry to hear of Gary's death at too young an age. You have my (and my Dad's) sincere sympathy.

We spent so many years serving at the same churches; it's a priviledge to have known Gary. We chuckle when we recall all the Sundays that Gary came to church exhausted from trucking, and had to struggle to stay awake & sometimes didn't succeed (SNORE!!) Of course, Chris was often in the same boat! :-) But he was always there, willing to do whatever needed doing.

Gary was a wonderful man who loved the Lord with all his heart. Never one to stand out in the crowd he always used every opportunity to witness for the Lord. By now we're sure he has discovered just how many souls were saved because of his testimony.

Tara and Justin, your stand for Christ is a testimony to your dad's(& mom's) faithfulness to Christ.

Linda, you 2 were the perfect compliment for each other-truly a "2 becoming 1". We know you will miss him greatly. Praise God you all had time to spend with Gary before he went HOME!

What will the crazy Nupson clan do without Gary's quiet sense of humor?? :-)

How we wish we could be there on Saturday for the celebration of Gary's life and homegoing. We will be thinking of you all.

God bless,

Julie Sweeney

Linda, Tara, Justin and extended family,

Condolences from London. Regretfully we won't be able to attend Gary's service on Sat, but be assured that your family is in our thoughts and prayers as you say farewell to Gary's physical presence and look forward to a wonderful reunion with him in heaven. God's Blessing and Sympathies,

The Sweeney's-Brett, Julie, Aaron, Jackson and Adam

Who da' thought a simple canoe trip in Wisconsin would lead to a wife, 2 kids, a granddaughter - and a whole bunch of in-laws?

God lead Gary to Linda and blessed their lives together with many happy memories.

He joined the 'Nupson' clan with our lefsa eating holidays, (even helping Linda make it), our family drives to SE MN to see the leaves, our crazy family fun days, and all the other peculiar things we 'Nupsons' do. He became part of 'us'.

We enjoyed his impersonations, his deep thinking ideas (get him on a topic and you've heard 'the rest of the story'), his calm patient ways, and his quick wit.

We'll miss him. He's in Heaven because He accepted Jesus as a young man, so we'll see him some day. But in the meantime he'll live on in our memories.

It was a privilege to have known Gary--he loved Jesus with all his heart and it was so great to talk to him about things of the Lord. Actually, I am so blessed to have brother-in-laws that love Jesus and exhibit His love. Thanks, Gary. You will be missed. We love you!
