Jimmy
There is not a time when we get together that we dont think of another wonderful yes and funny Jimmy Parker moment!
There is not a time when I know you aren't watching over Brady and Lindsey helping them with many difficult choices!
There is not a time when you dont listen to me from above and help Tj do a little bit better in every race he race! (being his in car angel)
You have given Pete some peace in his heart that he now has you for an angel by his side!
For me you have left the shield up so i dont get caught speeding.
We will never drive by that sign you changed in Maine without remembering how lucky we are to have had you and still have you in our lives and in our hearts!
I know you are here with us!!! Thank you!
We love and miss you lots!! Sharon ,Pete, Brady and Lindsey

Jimmy,
We still can't believe our long time treasured friend is gone. Forgive me as it's taken a while to accept it and write in.
We have so many wonderful snapshots of you in our minds from many wonderful years of friendship...calling Rob's work pretending you were a doctor from the Center from Disease Control, making the strongest coffee we've ever tasted, helping Doug be a "worthy ranger", being chased through the campground in Niagra falls, hanging out with the homeless people in Washington DC, finding moose bones, deer tracks, bear tracks and looking for the ice caves, walking for three miles to find the mine, horseback riding in Upstate NY and your notorious tarzan yell. The snapshots go on and on.
There are very few people in this world that leave you remembering them with a smile every time you think of them. You are one of the those unique people!! You will always be in our hearts and in our smiles! We miss you.

When I was about 5 years old I had the privalage of meeting Jimmy. As a young kid I was shocked by his crazyness and the amount of energy he always had. But as the years followed we became much closer and he was like a second dad to me, he would come on vacations with us, always be there to make me smile, and somehow always have different but extremly fun ways of doing something. My most memorable time with Jimmy besides all of the wonderful vacations is when I was in school and my waterbra popped. No one was at home except for Jimmy so I called him up and like always he saved the day! I guess you could say I didn't notice it until it was too late that he was my guardian angel! Always there when I was in desperate need of help. Eventhough you're with me everyday walking beside me.I love you Jimmy and miss you!

Jim was the love of my life and I have him to credit to my belief in Christ. He is the one who introduced me to Calvary Chapel where I learned that through faith, I am a child of God. As he himself grew in the faith and knowledge of our Savior, I know without a doubt he is walking streets of gold, and probably conducting the choir! I will miss his smile, his walk, his one of a kind sense of humor, and most of all his love, forever. But as the Pastor said at Jimmy's memorial service, if we could see him now where he is, we would not want him to come back. Love to All, Debbie

I had the privilege of knowing Jimmy as both a classmate and as my brother Pete's best friend. Jimmy was truly one of a kind. He was an adventurous free spirit who lived life to the fullest. He had a wonderful (and wacky) sense of humor that could always put a smile on someone's face. Here's one example: As a favor to my brother, he took me to my Junior Prom (way back in 1974). To my extreme embarrassment and in typical Jimmy fashion, he escorted me to the prom in a PINK tuxedo and MAROON platform shoes. I am not the kind of person who likes to stand out in a crowd but that night Jimmy dragged me into the spotlight with him. To this day, it is still one of my funniest memories and a story that I fondly share with others. He will be truly missed but loved forever by all who knew him. To his family and friends, when you look up to the sky at night think of this quote inspired by an Eskimo legend: "Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy."

Jimmy,
Your humor and smile were contagious. From the first time we met you, we felt that we had known you all our lives. We shall never forget the New Years that we spent with you at Bucks Lake. You truly loved your family and friends and embraced life each day. We are blessed to have known you and will keep you in our hearts forever. Love Tim, Linda and T.J.

My best memories of Jimmy are in Maine. We used to go to Maine every year for Columbus day and Jimmy was always apart of our special weekend. He always made us kids laugh, and have a good time. We would "borrow" pumpkins, and carve them, and put them back as scarecrows, go applepicking, and who can forget the infamous tarzan yell at 2:00 in the morning! Jimmy always seemed to enjoy life, and always had a joke or a smile to pass on. We will never forget you....Ranger Jimmy

Ranger Jimmy,
You were a gift from God in our lives! The Man would find beauty in every rock! We all got them as gifts. You were a admired best friend to Pete, a adventurous summer vacation husband to me, and an idol to Brady and Lindsey! We were and are still very lucky to have you to make us smile and laugh, and guide us though our lives until we meet. We all will live a life of spectacular memories from you! Thank you! We love you! I don't really think that there is anything that I need to say about Jimmy. Everyone that knew him certainly knows what a wonderful, loving, and great person he was. I was lucky enough to have him in my life and I'm certainly a much better person for it. My memories of him will be forever in my heart and I'm certain that whatever I do from here on out I'm going to have Jimmy watching over me.
We will ALL miss Jimmy forever

My friend of many years is now gone, without reason. He will be so sadly missed by anyone who knew him. I thank God for the chance to have known and loved him, for he was more than my friend, he was a brother to me. He brought laughter and joy with him, always seeing the cup half full. To know Jimmy was to be blessed. Today he walks hand in hand with the Lord, no doubt. We love you Jimmy.

From the time I met you, you always put smiles in my face. You have the ability to make people laugh and feel happy, and I was not the exception. I am sure God is already having a great time with you. Just do not get out of hand and help him out in looking after all of us here. I am missing you greately. One day we will meet again. I love you very much Jimmy and it is very sad you are not with us anymore, but I will carry you in my heart and I will always remember you with a great smile in my face, like you always did.
