I met and knew Paddy for a few years at Uni. It was always good to see him around campus, in the gym or on the town at night. He was a good man and well liked by many, many people. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time. May God rest his soul and comfort his family.

Paddy,
Although we were never close friends, three years of politics seminars at Brum with you left such a lasting impression. I'm sure I speak for many of us from uni who didn't necessarily know you that well, but who loved seeing you 'out and about' and really admired your humour, dedication and big heart. It's devastating to think that someone as friendly, generous and loyal as you is gone, but I hope that many happy memories will comfort those closest to you.
My thoughts and deepest sympathy go to your family and those who knew you best.

I studied Politics with Paddy at Uni. We used to spend time in the Guild in between lectures and kept each other company on msn late at night when working through our essays. We had many nights out together and they were always such good fun, mainly due to Paddy's love of a good time and fantastic sense of humour. We used to txt each other about football and had a soft spot for each other's teams. I'm going to miss Patrick so much but will always be grateful for the times we shared together, to have been his friend was an honour. I'm never going to forget him. My thoughts and prayers are with his Parents and all his family at this time.

Paddy,
Although i only knew paddy for 3 or so years at uni, i can't understate the sheer zest for life and contagious enthusiasm he had for anything and everything he partook in. As a coursemate i have fond memories of being in the library late at night, watching his beloved Spurs take on Arsenal and the banter and rivalry we shared and all the great nights out we had. Paddy leaves me with me with many great memories of how to "go for it" and not hold back on life. It is with great sadness that i write this but Paddy you were a fanastic guy and i am so very proud to have been able to call you a friend of mine. May you rest in peace. My thoughts are with Paddy's parents and family at this tough time, take and god bless.

Patrick, you left a lasting impression in the short time we knew you. One couldn't find a more warm hearted and fun loving person, a son to be proud of. Our hearts go out to Catherine, Alun and the family.

I worked really closely with Paddy for 4 months and he was also my train travelling partner. We had a really good connection and he was one of the most amazing youngsters I have met - I loved his spirit and his contagious being.
The way I sum up Patrick is " always one more", whether that was when we were cold calling or having a Peroni after work.
We are gutted about Paddy... Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family as I cannot imagine the grief you are all feeling.
Rest in peace Bru – big love from Craig, Chonell, Jason & Kristan Roy
