When we were little we skipped around and played for hours together with your fake swords and guns. Courtney and I would have so much fun chasing you. In time we lost touch, and quit talking. Although we were not as close as we were as kids i miss you. I grew up with you and you were such a good person. Hope everything is well were you are! Cody...we think of you every day, but sometimes, on holidays or special family events (like today) I think of you and just get sad that you are not here to share these things with us. Life is hard to understand, but I am so glad you were a part of my life. Like the Garth Brooks song...I could've missed the pain, but I'd have had to "miss the dance". i sit here remembering when i first met you, you seemed so quiet, but always had a big bright smile on your face it brightened up my day. your smile was so kind and sincere . i cry as i write this, still cant believe your gone. how time passes and how we grew together in high school. rememebering how we'd sit in class laughin and joking around, looking at each other for the answers and having no clue what to do but we'd always help each other out.
