Mary Sheehan-Webber Obituary

Mary Amelia "Jimmy" Sheehan-Webber was born in Campbelton, New Brunswick on October 21, 1904. She was the 4th of 5 children born to William Zenon Sheehan and Mary-Elizabeth St. Croix. She and her family moved to the Montreal area when she was 2 and lived 100 years in the city she loved. She passed away quietly in her sleep on November 10th.

Jimmy, as she was known to her friends, was the toast of Montreal as a Flapper in the 20's and she never lost her sense of humor or love of life. She even tried motor cycle riding with her granddaughter at the age of 80.

In 1920, she married Ernest Webber. Together they had one child, Joyce Eileen Webber Taylor, who passed away in 1996. She will be missed by her son-in-law, Wm C. Taylor, of Bradenton, Florida; 4 grandchildren - Mary-Elizabeth "Tuli" Taylor of New York City; Jackee Shepherd of Smithfield, RI; Jane H. Taylor of Franklin, Ma; William C. "Bud" Taylor II of Leominster, Ma; and by her 4 great-grandchildren. She will also be fondly remembered by her many loving nieces and nephews and many very close friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of the Queen Elizabeth Nursing Home who provided loving care for Grandma in her last days. A service will be held at Collins Clarke Funeral Home on 5610 Sherbrook Street, Montreal, P.Q., Canada at 2PM, Saturday, November 18th.
