Gunn-Yager
Lacy Leigh Yager and David Lawrence Gunn were married at 2:00 on Saturday, July 18, 2009, at Grace Episcopal Church in Cortland, NY with The Reverend Jerome Wichelns officiating.
The bride is the daughter of S. Kevin and Robin Yager of Dryden, NY. The groom is the son of Lawrence and Tana Gunn of Dexter, NY.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Kristen Wilson, best friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Jennifer Ramie, Colleen Coletta, and Erin Gunn, all sisters of the groom were bridesmaids. Claire Ramie, niece of the couple, was flower girl.
Chris Ramie, best friend of the groom, was best man. KJ Yager, brother of the bride, Dave Ramie and John Coletta, both brothers-in-law of the groom, and Jason Raymond, friend of the groom, were groomsmen. Dylan Ramie, nephew of the couple, was ring bearer.
Stephanie Kuhn, cousin of the groom, and Deedee Ramie, friend of the couple, both performed readings. Steve and Fran Shumway, godparents of the bride, performed a vocal duet.
The reception was held at Tinelli's Hathaway House in Solon, NY.
The bride graduated from Dryden Central School in 2001. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from SUNY Cortland in 2005 and a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst in 2009. She is an Assistant Athletic Trainer at UMass.
The groom graduated from General Brown High School in 1998. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from SUNY Cortland in 2002. He is Assistant Director of Athletic Media Relations at UMass.
The couple honeymooned in Negril, Jamaica and now resides in Amherst, Massachusetts.
