Evelyn Harper
June 29, 2006
My name is Evelyn Anne Brown Harper,
daughter of Paul and Mildred "Toots"
Brown. I can remember, as a little girl, coming to visit "Fritsie" and Miles. Bob and Anna Mae Combs were also good friends of my parents. I remember how talented "Fritsie" was.
Young Miles was several years younger than I (I'm 61). I send my sincere sympathy to the family.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear about Miles, Sr. I remember when we were neighbors on Duncan AV. Miles, Jr once asked me," When I attended Morgan School, did the teachers stand outside and ring a bell."
