Margaret Kmiciewicz Obituary

KMICIEWICZ, Margaret (nee Quinn) - Peacefully passed away in her 87th year on December 13, 2008 at Providence Centre. Beloved wife of 54 years to Wladyslaw (deceased), mother of Michael, mother-in-law to Barbara, grandmother of Julie Anne (Damian) and Erin Alexandra (Andrew) and great-grandmother of Conor, Kate, Maggie and Honor. Her life was dominated in equal measure by dedication to family and to her beloved newspapers - The Toronto Telegram and later as one of the old "originals", the Toronto Sun. She will be missed by all for her charm, tact and integrity. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Butler Chapel", 4933 Dundas Street W., Etobicoke (between Islington and Kipling Aves.) on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Remembrance at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3055 Bloor Street West, Toronto on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Mississauga. In lieu of flowers, any donation to Providence Healthcare Foundation would be greatly appreciated. A special thanks to the staff of Sumac House and Cardinal Ambrosic Houses of Providence for their dedication and gentle care. Requiescat in Pace
