Elsie Wright Devine

DEVINE, Elsie Wright, 87, of Rockville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 8, 2008. She was preceded in death by her son, Henry Ragle III; sister, Gladys Childs; and her parents, Albert G. and Shirley Wright. Mrs. Devine is survived by her son, Albert Devine and wife, Suzette, of Rockville; two daughters, Shelva Powell and husband, Bruce, of Richmond, and Cherrie Healey and husband, Robert, of Rockville; six grandsons, Henry Ragle IV, Peyton Ragle, Ryan Ragle, Christopher Healey, Kyle Healey, and Nick Devine. Mrs. Devine retired from Thalhimers with over 30 years of service. She was a wonderful, loving, devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed by all. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad St. A cryptside service will be held 12 noon Monday, August 11, in Westhampton Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Joseph's Home, Little Sisters of the Poor, 1503 Michaels Road, Richmond, Va. 23229.
