Thomas Carnes Obituary

CARNES, Thomas Frederick Jr., 71, of Clarksville, died August 5, 2008. He was a retired employee of Reynolds Metals, and was preceded in death by a son, Freddy Carnes. He is survived by his daughters, Pat Soler of Fredericksburg and CeCe Adams of Midlothian; son, Chris Carnes of Gainesville, Fla.; sister, Linda Price of Virginia Beach; brother, Phil Carnes of Chase City; and 13 grandchildren. The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Wood Funeral Service. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wood Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Lake Country SPCA, 7577 Hwy. 58, Clarksville, Va. 23927. Wood Funeral Service, Chase City, is serving the family. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.woodfuneralservice.com.
