Lois Wangensteen Obituary

WANGENSTEEN, Lois D. "Boo," of Mechanicsville and previously of Charlottesville, Va., passed away Thursday, July 31, at the age of 75. Boo was born on March 16, 1933 in Sioux City, Iowa, to Harry and Lois Day of Minneapolis, Minn. She was preceded in death by her youngest son, William Harry Wangensteen. She is survived by her children, Christine W. Eklund (Bill) of Tucson, Ariz., Stephen A. Wangensteen (Laurie) of Mechanicsville, Va., Philip O. Wangensteen (Dana) of Charlottesville, Va.; and four grandchildren, Sierra, Owen, Blake and Madison. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2007 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Ivy, Va. Please in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA and your local Diabetes Foundation for Juvenile Diabetes.
