Here it is 10 years later and I learned of the passing of once very close friend. I was sitting here in my home in NY and I was intent on finding Maceo. Well, I did only to know I will never see him again. This happens when you move away and do not stay in contact with on another. Rest on good friend. Janice, my late condolences to you and the family.

I was blessed and fortunate to have known William in my Strayer University classes. He was always a man of grace, dignity, intelligence, and warmth. Seeing him walk across the parking lot, I was constantly reminded of how amazing life can be, will always be as long as I turn to God. William will always be an inspiration to me on how to live life with quiet integrity.

William Clark was an extraordinary student and a good man. I am going to miss him. He took all my courses. I still remember William saying "If you had many more courses to teach, I would have taken all your courses". I cannot forget that. My God bless his family.

William was greatly admired by the faculty, staff, and his peers at Strayer University's Chesterfield Campus. As dean of the campus, it was an honor and privilege to know and serve such a fine gentleman. He will always be remembered for the inspiration he provided to all of us.

I had the pleasure of working with William and he was truly a wonderful and very sincere man. He listened intently throughout our conversations and had such a sweet smile and his laughter was even more special. I am so sorry for your loss and I hope memories of him will comfort you and your family during this very sad time. He mentioned often how much he loved his family and looked forward to being with them. I am thankful to have known him and called him a friend, even if it was for just a little while.
