Just wanted to express my belated condolences to the Harris family in the loss of Deacon Thomas Harris. Being an Essex Native, and a classmate of Thomasine, I have had numerous personal encounters with your family. His presence will be missed by many.

To Ira and the Harris Family, Our prayers, sympathies, and thoughts are with you in these trying times. We prayed for Thomas last night and will continue to do so. He obviously brought joy to his family and comfort to his community. May you find strength in both memories and each other.

Mr. Harris will be greatly missed. He has served as a role model, mentor, community leader, church leader, and business leader. We have great memories of him over the years.
God is receiving into heaven a hard working, loyal, dedicated, christian leader. There aren't many persons left with the strength, vision, moral values, and since of great ethics Mr. Harris possessed. We love you and you will always be in our memories.
To the Harris family, we love you and may God Continue To Bless You during these times.

We will miss Mr. Harris, as will the rest of Tappahannock. We can remember the days (and the great food) at the drive-in. We are thinking of you and extend our deepest sympathy.
