WILLIAMS, James Thomas III, 88, of Richmond, died August 16, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Ruth B. Williams; son, James T. Williams IV of Farnham, Va.; son, Robert H. Williams and wife, Patricia C. Williams of Williamsburg, Va.; son, Timothy J. Williams and wife, Kathleen M. Williams of Richmond, Va.; daughter, Joan M. Williams of Mechanicsville, Va.; five grandchildren, Suzanne T. Williams, Regina M. Sobey, Thomas J. Williams, Wendy L. Miller, and Crystal M. Puckett; and one great-grandchild, Corey J. Sobey. Mr. Williams served in World War II as a lst Lt. in the U.S. Army. He worked for the City of Richmond Parks and Recreation for 30 years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Mass of the Resurrection will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2008, 10 a.m. at Church of the Epiphany Catholic Church, 11000 Smoketree Drive, Richmond, Va. 23236. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
