Deon. You were a big part of my life. I met you at 12. And known you until your last breath on earth. I still think of you often. I remember your face, smile and laugh. Your perfect teeth. I pray for your children and for your families comfort! I still miss you. 15 years later I still feel like something is missing and it’s not fair! I know you’re at peace. But I still will always visit your grave. Play our song and watch “get rich or die trying” your children are beautiful and their mother is so beautiful too and doing an amazing job!! My friend forever ! I love you ❤

Hey Deon,
You were my brother's best friend and adopted brother. That means that you were my brother. And you know you were part of the family if my mother cooked for you. lol Rassan is a little jacked up over this, but he be okay. We miss u dawg. Anything those babies need where we can help we will.

Deon was my everything one day he talking too much lol! and the next your gone! that hurts me so bad to know and face the fact that your gone that big long blue caddilac wont be pulling in front of my house everyday! I just cry every night almost and pray. I will never forget you and is waiting for the day we meet again! And that day will be a wonderful day for me and him! My Prayers is to everyone who love him too cause if they really love him they will feel like me so they need prayer too and may Deon Rest in Peace!

Deon, I still can't believe that you are gone. I listen to my niece calling her "daddy" all day and now you will not be able to see her. I know your son would have love to meet you because Deonna loved you soooo much. My sister is trying to imagine life without you and can't, you were her only true love and she misses you. My kids loved playing with you and Daeyonna still thinks you will be at Sheera house when we go there. I miss you and wish this was not true. Rest in peace and stay with my sister and your kids forever!

To the Lightfoot & Johnson Families, I extend my deepest condolences. I didn't have the opportunity to know Deon as a young man but recall the days when he was just a baby in Barkita's arms. I also know how much his family loved him and will miss him. Praying that God gives you strength as well as comfort during this most difficult time. I am so saddened that this happened and want each of you to know that I am praying and sending my love.
Leon loved his family dearly and this is one of the things I always admired in him. My heart aches and I hope he is given the help he needs.
Deon will live forever in the hearts of all who loved him and his precious children. I know he had to be a wonderful young man because he comes from a loving family. Marjorie, Barkita, Lolita, and Leon are friends I will always love. God Bless each of you, today and always. God is love, forgiveness, and mercy.

Mayne Deon it seems like just yesterday we was in Mrs. Bowers class trippin off each other. You were always a ngood friend and a big brother figure who could make me laugh.
