Bro, it's been almost a year and I miss you everyday. Everytime I caught a fish, or did something trivial to others, you were the first person I called and you rejoyced with me. We loved to hear you "brag" about your sister-in-law in Texas, the "foreign-born-brute" who could do anything. We do miss you, Brother.

I will miss hearing Don say "Helloooo Jack!" on the cell phone. Tall, lanky Jack. None other like him. He fought a good fight and will certainly be missed. Goodspeed Brother Jack.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the Faith" 2Timothy 4:6 NIV
My heart goes out to Joyce, and the family with deepest sympathy. Jack was a wonderful person with so much to give, even through his trials. I loved to see he and Don together on the front porch of LDD, the two of them were quite a pair - or Jack at "his cabin". I know that he will be greatly missed, but I also know that he has gone to a wonderful place where he will be free from pain, and with his sister.
I will never forget Jack being "hanged from a rope in Texas" and the time that he, my sister, and I, killed a copper head with a butter knife!
We will keep and cherish the good memories always.
With great respect, admiration and love - we will miss you Jack.

Texas won't be the same without Brother Jack's frequent visits. We'll miss him terribly and will always remember his quick wit and sense of humor.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. I wish I could be there but as you know I am in Costa Rica. Just know that I am thinking of you and just wanted to let you know how sorry I am. Jack was a wonderful, caring person and he will be greatly missed.
