I had the pleasure of knowing Ann when a member of The Rappahhanock Garden Club when I lived in the Northern Neck. Her enthusiasm for anything pertaining to nature was contagious. I enjoyed
so much when she entertained the club with her nature slide presentation. She will be greatly missed.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My deepest condolences go out to the family of Ann Messick. I had the pleasure of knowing Ann through my grandmother, Julia Potts Simpson, who for many years was the next door neighbor of Ann's in Kilmarnock before she herself went home to be with the Lord. I am the oldest granddaughter of Julia Potts Simpson. Ann attended my wedding in 1996. I have fond memories of her smile, laughter, and humor. I had the opportunity to sit in her home on the water and watch her beloved humming birds come and go. I feel blessed to have known Ann - she is a fond memory from my childhood as I spent many summer days at my grandmother's home on the water in Kilmarnock. I know heaven has received a wonderful angel. I'm sure my grandmother and mother are there to greet Ann and guide her to her guiding light to be with her Lord. May God comfort your family during this difficult time of loss.
