HOBAN, John Warren, 66, of Richmond, Va., departed this life on Saturday, August 30, 2008. He was preceded in death by his father, John W. Hoban Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Irma A. Hoban; one stepson, Ira Dawkins; his mother, Vivian E. Hoban; mother-in-law, Glassie M. Dawkins; four sisters-in-law, Theresa Williams, Betty J. Perry (Thomas), Glossine Robinson and Princess Favor (Thomas); six brothers-in-law, James, Rev. Dr. Warne (Cathy), Tyree, Archie, Joseph and Chauncey Dawkins; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service private.

Hoban brought life to Wynwood. He would always make you smile or laugh. If you didn't see him you would ask somebody where he's at. Hoban will be greatly missed by everyone in Wynwood.
