TALLEY, Marie Griggs, 91, of Mechanicsville, died Wednesday, September 3, 2008. She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel H. Talley Jr. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Daniel H. Talley Sr.; son, Thomas S. Talley and wife, Cheryl; daughter, Joan Talley Badalamenti and husband, Tony; grandchildren, Jason, Ryan and Danielle Talley and Joseph Badalamenti, all of Mechanicsville. Marie was active in church and community services. Remains rest at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., where the family will receive friends Friday, September 5, from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2 p.m., at Gethsemane Church of Christ. Interment in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Oak Hill Christian Camp or Gethsemane Church of Christ.

Mr. Talley and Family - Bradley and I express our deepest sympathy to each of you. She had such a sweet spirit and voice. I always loved when she would call the office for Joan and we would have a moment to chat. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
