BROWN, Lloyd Thomas "Charlie," 74, of Montpelier, Va., died Thursday, September 4, 2008. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, James Linwood and Bessie Barbour Brown; and brother, Jimmy Brown. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Edith Chick Brown; two sons, Wayne Thomas Brown and Christopher Lloyd Brown; one brother, Warren E. Brown and wife, Nancy; one grandson, Wayne Jr.; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, Tipper. Family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bliley's-Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Road, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday. Interment 1 p.m. Monday at Bethany Christian Church Cemetery, Bumpass, Va.

Edith I am so sorry for your loss, My prayers are with you and the family. I don't know that you remember me but worked with you at Va Cancer inst years ago. You was such a sweet person.
