My prayers goes out to all of Myrna's family. I have been out of town and was not able to be with the rest of our quilt buddies for the memorial service at Crestwood Church. Myrna was such an inspiration to our group. A true artist in quilting and in painting. At one of our meetings she showed us several of her china paintings. She then demonstrated by painting a pansy on a plate. We all were in awe with the ease of her brush. We will truely miss her. God's peace be with all of you.

What a great lady! I remember the time when many hours were spent by my parents with Myrna and Clayton. Also spent time with Phyllis and Sharon Kay, who were my first crushes, playing monoply. Clayton was my first boss. He was a hoot. Myrna and us exchanged Christmas cards every year and a few calls too.
In fact, this last Christmas we had quite a conversation.
Bonnie also fixed Myrna's hair for several years and enjoyed her company a great deal.
Our deepest sympathy to all of Myrna's family. May God grant you a special peace at heart knowing that Myrna's is with Him.

Myrna was a friend of mine through the Prairie Pioneer Quilt Guild. She was such a gracious lady with the most beautiful smile, always ready to share her expertise with a new quilter. My sister-in-law, Phyllis Arnold Synhorst, was a high school friend of Phyllis Meyers, which was an additional connection to Myrna. My condolences to her family.

To the family of Myrna Meyers,

I was sorry to hear about Myrna. As a child I sat in awe while watching her paint her china plates. She was an amazing artist. She was also a dear friend to my grandmother, Edna Vogt. The three of us spent many pleasant afternoons together while painting our ceramics. I have, and hold dear to me a plate that Myrna gave to my husband Leo and me when we were married. That plate holds many cherished memories for me; Memories of Myrna, memories of my wedding day, and memories of times spent with my grandmother. Myrna will always have a special place in my heart. I know that she will be missed by many.

With deepest sympathy,

My sympathies are with you all. Myrna was always such a special person to me. I really enjoyed growing up with her and having tea with her and Donna. It was always wonderful to be included in the "family" affairs across the street. She will be greatly missed.
