Clarence Bailey Obituary

BAILEY, Clarence Joseph Jr., 86, formerly of Richmond, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2008 in Bristol, Conn. Mr. Bailey was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps and the widower of Catherine R. Bailey. He was a father to Peter, Margaret, Deborah, Cathy and Paul; father-in-law to Betty, Johanna and Ken; grandfather to seven, and had a great-granddaughter. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, Thursday, September 11, from 5 to 8 p.m. His funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, September 12, in the Chapel of the Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his name may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38015.

We so enjoyed the wonderful company of Clarence and Kittty when we lived in Richmond. They were "super" great friends and so nice to spend time with at the KofC
socials at St. Edward's.

Tom and I, Alex, Palentino were neighbors of Clarence and Kitty at Huguenot Apartments. We enjoyed a many of days chating. We extend our hands and heart to the family and will always keep Clarence in our memories.
