Corinne Daniel

DANIEL, Corinne, 79, of Richmond, passed away quietly to her Heavenly home Monday, September 8, 2008 at Covenant Woods, Mechanics-ville, Va., after a long and courageous illness. She was predeceased by her parents, Richard Braxton and Nannie Thrift Daniel; brothers, James, Herbert, George, Lewis and Douglas Daniel; sisters, Ethel Moon and Nancy Heinicke. She is survived by her sister, Mary Lou Fary; brother, Ben Daniel and sister-in-law, Dorothy Daniel, of Gloucester. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Corinne retired from Home Beneficial Life Insurance Company as an executive secretary and was a longtime member of Reveille UMC, Richmond. A graveside funeral service will be held 11a.m. Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Bethel Memorial Cemetery, Jamaica, in Middlesex County, with Rev. Rita Stahl officiating. The Daniel family expresses deep appreciation to the staff and friends at Covenant Woods for their many years of care and concern. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Covenant Woods, 7090 Covenant Woods Drive, Mechanicsville, Va., with Pastor Steve Scott officiating.
