BAREFORD, Mary Louise, 87, of Tappahannock, died peacefully in her sleep, September 1 3, 2008. She was retired from the State Highway Department. She is survived by a sister, Margaret Cooke and her husband, William of Mattaponi; two brothers, Edward Bareford and his wife, Gloria, James Bareford and his wife, Jean, all of Richmond. She was dearly loved by her family, including numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Dunbrooke. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. this evening at the Marks-Bristow Funeral Home, Tappahannock. Memorial gifts may be made to Bon Secours Hospice, 8580 Magellen Pkwy, Bldg. 4, Richmond, Va. 23227.
