FRAZIER, Aubrey Leroy, 73, of Hopewell, died Tuesday, September 16, 2008 in the Riverview on the Appomattox. Mr. Frazier was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond, Lexie and Claude Frazier. Aubrey was a retired technical assistant from I. E. DuPont with 25 years service, a member of the Optimist Club and a member of the First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Frazier; son, Thomas Frazier; five daughters, Becky Salisbury and husband, Kent, Bonnie Barbini, Peggy Trent and husband, Bobby, Belinda Helton and husband, Randy, Sherry Martin and husband, Kenneth; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Durham, Erin Lipscomb, Brandon and Anthony Barbini, Crystal Stoots, Justin Helton, Kendall Jarrett and Travis Martin; seven great-grandchildren, Kenneth Barbini, Jesse Powell, Braden Denning, Seth Barbini, Courtney Helton, Colton Stoots and Rebecca Helton; two sisters, Mary Sue Maloney and husband, Phil, and Betty Lou Scott. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2008 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, 214 N. 6th Avenue, Hopewell, and where funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2008. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation, Inc., 1501 N.W. 9th Avenue-Bob Hope Road, Miami, Fla. 33136-1494.
