Mrs. Baxter was a wonderful person! Not only a "leave it to Beaver" homemaker and mother to her sons, she was also a friend, involved with the boy's friends, including me. She and Bruce senior always had time for us and we felt at home at the Baxter's. What a cook! Sherry is proud to be one of a few with Mrs. B's recipe for spahgetti sauce! After Christmas, we all collected Christmas trees. Mrs. B led the way in her station wagon. On New Years' Eve (or was it New Years' Day?) we had a terrific bonfire in the Baxter's front yard, and drank hot chocolate with all the neighbors. We celebrate Mrs. Baxter, and we wish for God's comfort and blessings to Bruce, Brian, and Roger.
