We at the Division of Capitol Police were very saddened to learn of John's passing. He will be remembered for his long service to the Division as a skilled investigator, as well as for his wonderful sense of humor.

To Blanche - I was so very sorry to read about the passing of John. I know my mother will be there to greet him in heaven. My mother and father were so fond of you and your family. Even after all the years that have passed, my parents always had fond memories of their time together with you and your husband, John, and all of your children. Even though I was just a small child, I still vividly remember the times we would get together for visits - what I remember most was the laughter of you and your husband and children. My own father is too ill to sign this guest book, but on behalf of him and my siblings, I'd like you to know that we will be thinking of you during this difficult time.

Blanche & Kids,

We are all so sorry to learn of Pick's death. He was a long ago friend from his Capital Police days.

Always good for a laugh, he particularly enjoyed the time he and Billy Maiden "arrested" me during a class I was teachjing at U of R. He did apologize for conking me on the head but he did say the "arrest" had to look real for the sake of the students.

When we think of Pick we can smile.

My sympathies,
Dave

Katherine and John,
I am so sorry about your father. He could always get a smile out of me and all he talked about was you two. Just remember he is looking down on you right now and still watching over you.
God Bless and our prayers are with you.

Katherine and John

Words simply cannot express our profound sadness for the loss of your father, your friend and your mentor. He loved and adored both of you. Katherine and John, you have achieved so much in your young lives and there wasn't a time when he didn't express to his family and friends how proud he was of both of you.

Life presents each of us with extraordinary challenges and overwhelming happiness. Your father experienced overwhelming happiness the day that you were born. There was nothing that made him happier or provided greater comfort to him during those difficult times than the love he had for his children. Katherine, you will always be his little girl and John, you will forever be his best buddy.

Time does heal all wounds and always remember that even though his loss is devastating, his spirit will remain with you always.

With all our love and deepest sympathy.
