David M. Goode

GOODE, David M., 83, of Richmond, passed away Monday, September 22, 2008. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nadine Goode Scott. He is survived by his wife, Lois Tardy Goode; two granddaughters, Emily B. Scott of Jacksonville, Fla., and Lauren I. Scott of Springfield, Illinois; two sisters, Annie G. Scott of Richmond and Grace G. Baughan of Sykesville, Md.; three brothers, Vernon J. Goode of Radford, Va., John Sties Goode and Harry Lee Goode, both of Richmond. David was a retired employee of DuPont and a member of Knights of Columbus Council 6189. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Augustine's Catholic Church. Interment Holy Cross. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Augustine's Church Building Fund.
