Wayne M. Robertson

ROBERTSON, Wayne M., 88, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 23, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret G. Robertson. He is survived by his sisters-in-law, Jean Rose and Evelyn Robertson; and several nieces and nephews. Wayne served in the U.S. Navy from 1940 to 1945 in the Pacific Theater, was a member of Manchester Masonic Lodge #14, an avid golfer and a longtime member of Meadowbrook Country Club. A memorial service with Masonic Rites will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Bethany Christian Church, 5400 Forest Hill Ave. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Bethany Christian Church, 5400 Forest Hill Ave., Richmond, Va. 23225 or a charity of your choice.
