PERSON, Elizabeth C., 82, of Ashland, widow of Edward F. Person and Kenneth Mallory Sr., passed away Saturday, September 27, 2008. She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Mallory Jr. (Carol), Clyde Mallory (Judy), and Wayne Mallory (Anna); one daughter, Marilyn Trivett (Steven); two sisters, Mabel Schaaf and Lucy Lane; and 11 grandchildren, Donnie, Lisa, Stephanie, Sean, Wayne Jr., Christopher, James, Stephanie B., Joshua, Paul and Dana. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, Amanda, Steven, Ian, Jessica, Riley, William, Travis, Samara, Lucia, Molly and Daniel; and one great-great-grandchild on the way, to be named Addison. Mrs. Person was a founding member of Freedom Fellowship Church. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, at the Nelsen Funeral Home's Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Highway, Ashland, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1. Interment will be in Woodland Cemetery.

Nanny P. will be greatly missed.She is in a better place with God now watching over us all.She was an amazing woman very sweet and kind hearted.She will always be remembered never forgotten.Thank you Nanny for being a wonderful Grandma and Great Grandma to me as well as Samara.We loved you very much.You will remain in our hearts through out the rest of our lives.We love you.

Though I did not have the pleasure of knowing Ms. Person very long, her strength and determination will leave an impression on me always. My sincere condolences to all her family and friends. May you find comfort in knowing she's home now and watching over you all.

Mrs.Elizabeth Person Was one of the great lady's whom me and my family had the honer of knowing thru my life .Elizabeth and my mother(Viola Stanley) were not only kin they were as close friends to and that is a relationship that could never be broken .I miss my mother very much and I will miss this lady as much she was like my second mother as well that's why it will be hard to say Good by to her but she will be forgoten in our life.I know she will see my mother now.
