Warm Summer Sun

Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

We met Mr. Parsley probably a bit more than 15 years ago when we rented his cabin in the mountains. He was such a kind and thoughtful person I remember him fondly. We will always remember and think of him and his wonderful cabin with sweet fond memories. I am so sorry for your loss.
