James Easter

EASTER, James, of Richmond, departed this life September 30, 2008. He was preceded in death by one son, Ivan Jasper. He is survived by three sons, Tony Leander, Clayton (Tracy) and Ralph Easter; and their mother, Annette Easter; 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two sisters, a devoted, Rosa Lee Hoover and Shirley Jones; two brothers, Linwood Easter and Howard Easter of Boston, Mass.; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; three sisters-in-law, among them two devoted, Bertha Easter and Julia Scott; one brother-in-law; and other relatives and friends, among them a devoted, Robert Lee Chambliss. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Funeral services will be held Monday 1 p.m. at Mansion Avenue Triumphant Baptist Church, 1801 Mansion Avenue, where remains will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Dr. L. V.
