I was quite saddened to hear of Oscar’s death. I have many fond memories of working with him at D.G.S.C.
He always had a warm smile at the ready and was quick with a joke.
I wish to convey my deepest sympathies to his family.

Scott, Maynard, Wayne, Carol, and Emma,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Uncle Oscar's spirit will continue to thrive as I fondly remember all the wonderful times we had at the river. It is a blessing we were able to share those fond memories with him just recently at the reunion. He holds a special place in our hearts.

Wayne, Carol and Frank, Maynard, and Scott,
Am sad to hear about Oscar especially given it is already Monday evening, but wanted all of you to know I'm thinking of you. I am sure there is a lot of history since 1982 that I do not know, but I am fortunate to have so many shared good times with your entire family now flooding my memory. Take care and know that my thoughts and prayers will be with you as you honor Oscar tomorrow.

Dear Emma, Carol, Wayne, Maynard, Scott, children, and extended family,

You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
I have many, many wonderful memories of times I spent with Uncle Oscar and Aunt Broma. He was always kind to me and made me laugh. He was very, very special to my Dad and they had many great times fishing and spending time at his place on the York River.
I was so glad to have seen him at the reunion in August. He gave me a big hug. I was glad to have met you, too, Emma.
May the Lord comfort you during this difficult time.
Much love,
Julie Andrews
