Lois Byrne Jones

JONES, Lois Byrne, 89, of Richmond, widow of James S. Jones Sr., passed away October 8, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her son, James S. Jones Jr.; and daughter, Janice J. Sullivan. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Bettie Jones; son-in-law, Michael Sullivan; two grandsons, Mark and his wife, Holly, and Adam Jones; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Caylin Jones; also several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church and enjoyed fellowship with the young at heart. Grammy was also surrounded by her friends and staff at Lucy Corr Village for the past six months. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 12, 2008, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd. A graveside service for the family will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to St. Luke's United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
