William Harris Obituary

HARRIS, William Waller "Bill", 76, of Fairport, Va., and longtime resident of Virginia Beach, Va., departed this life on Friday, October 10, 2008. He passed away at Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Nursing Facililty, where he had been a resident for approximately two years. Preceded in death by his grandson, Larry A. Harris II, he requested that there be no formal service or funeral at the time of his passing. His wife and sons have honored both of these requests on his behalf. Survivors include his wife, Josephine Savage Harris; and sons, Larry A. Harris Sr., Scott Reid Harris, William Kenneth Harris, Calvin Herbert Savage, John William Savage, and Anthony Edward Bryant; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Josephine, I am sorry to hear about Waller. He was one of the first people I met when I moved here.He was one of my best friends.I will always remember the long rides we took in his truck and the good times. I miss him greatly. If you need my help I will be there for you.We love you. Dan and Muriel
